Worth buying??..98 Jeep Cherokee Blown Head..$1200?

Easy, inexpensive fix or a waste? Vehicle exterior/interior looks good. Head gasket seems to be the only issue
 
That's too much money for a car 11 years old, broken and mostly worn out. That would be a good price if it were RUNNING.
