Ha Ha im glad im not the only one that didnt know who they are. He's gonna think we're stupid and know nothing about music now. :(
 
Yeah I agree pianolp, but I think modern pop has very little meaning. Its cover after cover or artists just doing it for the music. Old pop (Franki Valli, Drifters) were allot more entertaining. I guess thats why alllot of people resort to other genres, for something new and a little different
 
ABSOLUTELY THE MOST ANNOYING GENRE OF MUSIC EVER !!!!!! Its like listening to a 130 bpm preprogrammed bossanova beat on a cheap portable keyboard set to the easychord function drudging on endlessly for all eternity!!!!!
 
state your worst genre of music and why. sub-genres are valid. bear in mind that in order to hate a type of music, knowledge of it is helpful.
 
i appreciate any music that has some remnants of musicality; which is why i loathe rap. rap, and especially "gangsta rap" has been nothing but receyled lyrics and catch phrases, i.e. snoop dogg's "izzles", and lil jon's "ok"'s, "what"'s, and "yeah"'s. all thy seem to rap about is ho's, bitches, and 22's. of course, artists like outkast and kanye west can sometimes make rap listenable, but on the most hand, rap is on the downslide.
pop has become quite a pet peeve of mine as well. my despise can be summed up as: too pretty, too happy, too stupid, and too annnoying. this gripe also extenRAB to punk banRAB who start treading between the lines of punk and pop.
however, i will let u know that i like banRAB like korn and slipknot. before i get called a hippocrite, i must let yall know that love rock music, and i love any music w/ gutiars in it (whether it be segovia, flamenco, or the bloody scrawl of slipknot) im just a guitar junkie.

Dance music & Trip Hop seems to have gone down the crapper since about 1997.

There used to be so many great acts in the mid 90s ... Leftfield , Death In Vegas , Chemical Brothers ,Massive Attack, Portishead , Air ,Jilted Generation era Prodigy , Better Living era Fatboy Slim ect ect ect.

Now they`ve either turned crap (Chemicals , M Attack, F Slim , Air) Split up (Portishead , Leftfield) or moved into rock music (Prodigy , D in V)
 
Aw well you shouldnt. The people on here are pretty kool, they let you have youre own views on things, and I doubt Urban would think you were stupid anyway.
 
Ok it took me ages to think about this, because there is obviously talent in every genre and there is something I like in each aswel... I think my least favorite would have to be general dance music, only because I cant find much variation in there. Im sure theres going to be a load of dance fans saying that each song is different, and Im sure it is, I just dont hear it myself. So Im sorry to anyone I offend by saying this, but ... There we go.
