Worst Cartoon ever Made or Re-done and Why

Worst. Cartoon. Ever.

I agree Ren and Stimpy were horrible. When it was popular I thought there was something wrong with me.

Not really a B&B fan either. Which is why I didn't expect to like King of the Hill. But that is a great show. Along with Daria.

I'm going to get killed for this, but Inuyasha gets on my last nerve. He's so annoying and all they do is fight a stupid demon in every single episode. It almost reminRAB me of the old Roadrunner cartoons when they use the same scenery on a continous loop.

And here's a drinking game: everytime Kagome yells "Inuyasha, Inuyasha!" do a shot. Actually don't, you'll die of alcohol poisoning.

Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.

I don't like Family Guy. So many people seem to like that show, but I just can't get into it. The humor just isn't funny to me.

When I was younger I was totally into Ren & Stimpy and Beavis & Butthead, but now I find them both to be extremely lame.

I've never seen Yu-Gi-Oh and I don't plan on ever seeing it.

As for remakes, I don't like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or The New Scooby Doo.

Oh, I almost forgot. The Simpsons. I don't like that show very much. I would watch it with my ex sometimes, or when nothing else was on. But I never really enjoyed it. There are a few really good episodes, but mainly I just find the show to be really lame.

I can't blame you guys if you dislike Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon as either the worst cartoon made or redone. We all can blame 4KiRAB for screwing us over and treating us like children :D

First of all, I  Inuyasha! The characters, the relationships and the complex storyline (Naraku's origin/his intent on using people and pitting the innocent against one another) is what sets the show apart. Also, there are only two love triangles I can stand in all fiction (books, TV, movies), one of them is the Kikyou/Inuyasha/Kagome relationship.

But I digress....

Worst cartoon? Since some of you have lumped in anime here I guess I will agree that Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! are all less than stellar entertainment. Which is quite sad considering they are anime and anime is far superior to cartoons (story & character development, as well as censorship is what sets these two genres apart). However, with Pokemon and the other two there is very little plot and character development. :(

As for a cartoon that has been redone? Oh, I wish I had a copy of my review I posted two years ago on another message board concerning the new He-man series (which is cancelled now). If any of you saw it and remerabered the original series in the early '80s you'll understand....WHAT!?!? Cringer can't talk???? No morals being taught, just plain action sequences??? What were they thinking!

The classics are classics for a reason. Instead of just putting out new versions I wish they'd just rebroadcast the old ones :).

I also agree that they should leave the old stuff alone.

The only good new cartoons that I've seen lately are Futurama and Family Guy.

and they are both off the air, now.

Mr. Impatient, I agree. Why taint the classics with 'modernized' versions. Strawberry Shortcake's wearing pants for pete's sake! That's just wrong. Heh.

CatDog is really stupid. I agree.

Never watched Angry Beavers. My nephews said it sucks.

I don't like the new Strawberry Shortcake or some of the new Care Bears. :( Oh! And the new "My Little Ponies" are crap, too. Why can't they come up with something original, instead of trying to ruin some of the old shows? Wait... Never mind. When they try to come up with "new" shows, we get crap like Two Stupid Dogs, CatDog, Ed, Edd & Eddie, and all the other stupid filth that is being released now. :(

How would you choose just one?

I despise Cow and Chicken; Beavis and Butthead; Ed, Edd and Eddie; Catdog and a whole bunch of others.

I don't know about remakes, except for Justice League. I can't stand it.

Definately all the anime that's directed to the population of eight-year-old boys. Stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Digimon, and whatever -mon decides to come next.
