Worse weekend of my life.

Worse weekend of my life.

On Friday afternoon I drove to Tescos. While existing through the back door I noticed a nurabness in my right leg, I could move it but had no feeling at all in the leg so I had no control over it. It was as if all coordination had gone, resulting in me tripping on a curb and shopping flying everwhere. When I finally reached the car i went to open the door with my right hand, suddenly it was nurab and opening it was impossible because as soon as my hand touched the handle my fingers went all different directs, now my right hand was nurab.

i got in my car and stupidly started the engine thinking maybe i could make it home, its only a mile away, but trust me its impossible driving with a nurab leg and hand. So I turned off engine and got out of the car, deciding to walk to the GPs about 400m away, i fell twice walking to to and seriously sprained my ankle. while walking there the right side of my face went nurab, face, lips, teeth etc.

so now the whole right side of my body had gone nurab, including mouth, teeth, lips, etc so talking and breathing was affected. stayed like for for about 40 mins

made it to the GP's who told me to go to hospital. So in hospital i had CT Scans on friday and am supposed to have MRI scans on monday but had to discharge myself as my 8 month old child was rushed to the childrens hospital by arabulance on Sunday night

this weekend has truely sucked

stroke? i hope not im only 29, never smoked, havent drunk alcohol for 9 years and go to gym 4 days a week, 30 inch waist. But then my dad had a heart attack at 31.

could be a mini stroke or migraine related, even a tumor or brain aneurysm,

will have to wait for an MRI as an outpatient so could be months.

MRI should actually be this afternoon but doctor said that i could not leave on sunday evening and come back first thing in the morning

Crikey mate, that sounRAB scary!

I'm not clear if you are having an MRI today or not. If not, have you considered having it done privately? No idea of costs but it may be the best money you've ever spent! And of course, a speedy recovery to your little one aswell.

I've had this happen to me and you can't help but feel scared. I went to the GP who referred me straight to the hospital. I wasn't sure why she had made such a snap decision without performing any tests, other than asking me to look away at one point. It was only when I got changed at home and found I had blood on my leg where she had stuck a needle into several places, which of course I never felt.

It may not be as bad as you think so try not to worry too much until you have had the tests completed, which is easier said than done I know.

Wow, that sucks. A lot.

Luckily you didn't attempt to drive but to even think about it considering what happened...

In any case, let's hope it's not a stroke and a speedy recovery to you and your child.
