Recently I had protected sex with a pro however the condom broke and neither of us noticed. It could only have been broken for 5 min max. Im curious if anyone can tell me what are the chances of catching HIV in this situation. It has been 5 weeks and no symptoms have appeared except I have a small cold at the moment but not reallty that bad. Can anyone help me as its very stressful not knowing and I dont want to get tested and find out bad news.

You have been exposed to many possible things. Don't wait, please get tested now whether the news is good or bad. Sometimes it takes a while for symptoms. Getting treatment as early as possible should the need be is better than letting things get worse before treatment.

If you do not know, you risk exposing others to the same fate if that should be the case.
