Where's the best place to get videos of the highlights?

youtube is alright since they have everything, but the quality is shit...

i do however enjoy checking out the different reactions in other countries - the south americans going all out, asian just stating the names, english analyzing every single shot...


and it's always fun to listen to other people trying to get the names right...i've heard so many variations of "Schweinsteiger" these last 15 minutes on youtube

anyways: who's got vids in decent quality? I'd even be willing to host for a while
 
Haha, do we do that? What I hate in commentry is when the commentators don't actually talk about what's going on, but instead read random facts from their list. I.e if England are attacking, and Beckham is on the ball, they might say something like "And Beckham is looking for Crouch here, who's playing his 7th game for England" or some shit like that...if we want facts we can look them up.


Google video / youtube is probably your best bet, if some kind souls are uploading them all.
 
i def know that there are forums out there which have vids in HQ because every once in a while i'd have someone send me the vids, i.e. i got the japan-germany goals from some guy on OT...he seemed to have gotten them on some soccerboard

and yes, since the english audience in UK is very knowledgeable, so are the commentaries
they are actually very similar to the german comments - but other parts of the world have a completely different style of looking at the game it seems to me
 
I'm from the UK btw...a Liverpool fan. :-P (and England too, ofc)

Some of the quality of commentry is awful in the UK, although the ITV and BBC do a good enough job. if anyone has a clip of American commentating it would be v. interesting for me to see.
 
too right, ..., the esbn coverage which is sometimes on chanel 5 in the early hours is a source of some ammusment

I'm uncertain if they'll work outside the UK tho', (its a fifa rights fing IIUC) ..., they also have some weirdo 'virtual highlights' which is like a console game reply fingy

if the bbc ones work they'll be some itv ones as well

ya the american commentators suck

in the argentina vs ivory coast game, one of the commentators made 2 analogies to basketball and baseball
