World of Warcraft prepaid game card?

I have an old WoW account that i haven't played on since last year, and i feel like playing again. My cousin used to pay for it, but he cancelled the payments and stuff so we stopped playing. If i get a pre paid gamecard and it gets used up, will he have to start paying again? Please give a description
