WORLD HISTORY GREECE NEED HELP!!?!?

okay so like i need my world history book for hw.. and i left it at school. :[
and i dont kno any of this stuff!!!
1. how do you think Greece's location near the sea influenced the development of its civilizations?
2. Why was trade with neighbors such an important part of Greek life?

with the sea.. does it have something to do with fish.. cuz i dont kno anything of ths stuff.. and its makinn me angry
 
both two questions are related, all ancient developed civilizations are near sea to have easy access to trade. no its not about fish, it is about trade. simply trade.
