Using primary source documents in my world history textbook I have to compose a short essay (5 full pages) that considers the following questions:
How did ancient people perceive their god(s)? How did the authors of these sources describe the gods? What relationship did the god(s) have with humans? Why did each society portray their god(s) in this way? What do these descriptions tell us about the societies that shaped them? Use information about each society’s social, political, environmental history to explain the authors’ portrayals of their deities.
In addition these are the guidelines that I have to follow:
-Use at least three primary sources, with at least one short, direct quotation from each source
- compare the primary sources to one another, as well as discuss the historical background of the societies that shaped these texts
-essay must contain a clearly stated argument in the first paragraph, evidence drawn from the primary sources that supports your argument in the body of the paper, and you must consider the historical context with specific information
Please help me with some direction on how to construct this paper I am a freshman and a very weak writer
