World Civilizations Homework Help!!?

The question for my homework is:
Gandhi, martin Luther King Jr.,and Rosa Parks had much in ccommon. They used the same "recipe" to help promote change. Based on your knowledge of Gandhi's life and your understanding of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, create a recipe for non-violent resistance. Remember the components of a good recipe (amount, cook time etc)
Now, im not asking for you to do my homework, I just simply do not know where to start and what to include! please help! Thank you!
 
Just mention the words "civil disobedience" (as in 3 cups of c.d.), blended in with 4 tbsp of public support, etc.
 
1/2 cup of study your text
pinch of, get of yahoo answers
an ounce of hard work
8 cups of antilaziness
cook it for about an hour
and you get a beautiful paper
 
1)Because Mildred's(the wife's) friends were right there.
2)An in the ear "beetle", or wireless communicator.
 
Use examples of how all of them used non violence to achieve their ends...
