Im trying to study for my final at WSU in World Civ (GenED 110) also an AP high school class if anyone knows it.... I have the whole thing pretty good execpt for the 3rd part...the essay questions... which is 60% of the total grade! The questions are below and IM NOT LOOKING FOR YOU TO WRITE THE ESSAY I can write it If I knew or was more certain about what I was writing! I explained a little under each one to say what I think....I just need a little help cause I really need an A on this test and my TA wont get back to me!

Part III. One of two essays (60 points).

1.During the period from the fifth to tenth centuries, major religions spread throughout the Afro-Eurasian continents and began the process of breaking down political, social, cultural, and ethnic/racial boundaries. Discuss three of these movements, in particularly the fundamental doctrines in these universal religions that allowed them to spread beyond the confines of the regions they originated. Then discuss the processes in which they spread, including how these religious movements, on the one hand, fostered greater integration and promoted “worlds together” among different peoples and civilizations; while at the same time created new cultural and religious identities which kept the “worlds apart?”

*I think this means the 3 main religions of the time...am I right? I would say Islam, Christinaity, and Hinduism, or Buddhism.... if Im totally off someone redirect me but Im pretty sure that is what it is assking.*

2.Several major “currents” in world history from 1000-1450 CE helped to promote and foster greater integration within the “Old World.” Identify three of these “currents.” Identify three of these “currents” and discuss how and why they came about? How did these “currents” help to promote and foster integration? How and why were these developments significant not only for the period but might also influenced subsequent centuries? (In other words, you must also consider how these “currents” influenced the “world” beyond the 15th century.) (The term “currents” is defined broadly to mean major political, social, economic, military, technological, religious, cultural, and epidemiological events and/or episodes during this period.)

*This is the one I am having the most trouble with.....the "currents" part.... it says major event and maybe I am being really stupid here but all I can think of is the bubonic plauge but I need 3 and I honestly cant think of anything!*
