Working in the field of criminology and forensic medicine in Mexico?

I want to study and work in the field of criminology as mentioned in the question and I am thinking about studying and working in that field in Mexico. What are the bad things about doing this there and are there any good things? Is it better if I do this in USA and will the salary be better in Mexico or USA or about the same?
