I am just wondering if I would be able to work 3 12 hour shifts as an ER Physician Assistant. I want to spend the other 4 days managing property and spending more time with my family. It doesn't matter if I have to work from like 7am-7pm which is pretty long, I just want a relaxing long weekend each week. Would I be able to select the hours that I would work when I become an ER Physician Assistant? I also want to know how hectic the work is for ER PAs, I heard that its pretty tough to be an ER PA. Would I have time to socialize with colleagues? Or is it just that people focus on work, eat, work and leave? How friendly are the people that work with ER PAs? Please give me any suggestions or info. on what I could do. Thanks.
