I would agree with this only because they fix everything for you. Therefore, word processors do not require you to learn the rules of the language you are using and by not learning and knowing those rules many are also unable to speak properly.
No. I think that parents who let their kids speak the way they do these days have. dis and dat blah....blah...blah..... my parents wouldn't answer me if I didn't ask properly.
I grew up when word processor were just starting to get popular but I didn't have to relay on spell check...but even now for work...if I type something in a program, i intentionally don't think about spelling correctly because I save time by letting spell checker make the final nit-picks.
