I was thinking today. What kind of word problems did kids have in Soviet Russia in math classes? I mean obviously they couldn't have a problem like "Sergei wants to buy a coat for X rubles, but there's a 40% discount, how much does it cost now?" because that's obviously capitalist. Did they have stuff like "Sergei insults Comrade Stalin, and therefore gets his ration reduced by 70%. What is his new ration amount?" or something? What do you think?
