woops i lost my cricket service

hey guys while trying to change my prl i accidently forgot to uncheck the update firmware box in the cdmaupdater. After it finshed my phone keeps searching for network... what have i done? my phone was unlocked for cricket before so did i reverse the process?its like i erased my esno or somethingto do with the phones radio maybe somethen with the phone radio? please someone tell me what i can do to get my cricket service going again i cant figure it out for the life of me :crying:
 
the problem is it wont let me access any of that information, i cant do any ##data ##debug etc because the phone tries to connect to service first everytime i enter a code, im stuck in an endless network search, also under phone info(the only phone menu i can access) it no longer displays my esn or phone nuraber, those areas are blank besides the firmware version, the prl i was using was a evdo prl 38236,i am able to use cdma updater to reinstall 38236, but cannot use *228 to get the 1040 prl,but i doubt that even getting a different prl would help as the 38236 prl did function the same as the 1040 prl for me prior to my phone issues ....ive come to believe that its an issue with nvbackup or somethen, i dont have my nvbackup for my phone and it doesnt look like im gonna be able to find one to restore...i never gotta chance to backup my NV when i accidently updated my phone. :befuddled
 
it sounRAB as if you might have bricked the radio. i had the same problem with a treo 600. and it worked fine when i put a new radio in.....Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
 
hmm are you sure?so i bricked the radio...geezzzzz, is it even worth it to repair.. i dont even know where to start look for a radio o :reallysad
 
My first treo 600 i had i flashed wrong and it bricked the radio....you could look and see if you can find a parts treo on ebay or something and replace the radio.
 
ok.. so does it have to be a treo 700p exactly the same as mine, meaning verizon model,also would i need to do anything else as in order to regain my cricket service or would the radio swap be enough.thanks for your help
 
Its toast. I did the same thing to my 700P, got unplugged when updating the PRL in QPST. Bad cable.

Part it out on E-Bay. I got $50 for my mint screen, $25 for my mint housing. Grabbed another with a bad esn for $95.
