Wooden fish tank lid warping?

I have a large tank but where as the lid is made of wood it has started to warp on the joins. Is there anything I can do or put under the lid to stop this from happening please?

As mentioned above, condensation forming on the wood is causing it to warp. Has the wood been sealed in any way? Improving ventilation in the hood may help to a certain degree.

Well I don't know for sure, but, I would suspect that the humidity from the water is causing condensation on the underside of the wood thereby causing it to warp. I would start by having the lid sit up off the actual top of the tank, thereby allowing some of the humidity to escape. If you look at the plastic lids that come with fish tanks, it's not completely sealed. That could be your problem. Good luck.
