Wood TW6-6 TW-555 Cam Dyno Test by Fuel Moto

Yep, agree with that. The 204's are even happy at stock compression.

I wouldn't have looked any further than the 204 for a bolt in cam... until Jamie started testing these Woods cams..... now the 555 is looking awesome - even as a bolt in at stock compression!! Now I really don't know which one to go with.

I have the SE 103 Stage II, currently but am always looking for more power. My numbers are fairly similiar to those posted and I am feeling a little cheated. Does that seem accurate for the se255? I know I am losing torque with my Bub 7 True Duals, however am I really losing that much? And Jamie looking at the sheets you have for the Woods 6-6 on a 2010 limited 103" there is a big improvement, is there anything different with on the limited that would change the 103 from the SE 103 for the rest of us. I am generally happy with my bike, and I dont ride a dyno sheet but that is a significant difference, more than 10%. Jamie, as always Thanks for the great info

We ride in a very similar manner which is probably why we like the 204's. I live in the country. 80% of my riding is 55mph no stop light roads and highways.

The service manager at the dealer I went to has 255's in his glide. When I went to pick the bike up he asked me what I had done to the motor besides cams. I told him nothing. He was impressed.

Like all cams you have to pick the right one for how you ride. If you are honest with yourself and do your homework there are lots of good choices out there. That 555 is looking pretty good.

I picked the Woods TW6-6 cams because I felt they were the best "all-rounder" cam available at the time. I'm giving up a bit in the TQ curve due to my exhaust choice, but I'm addicted to Thunderheaders. I would have a much better curve (IMO) with the Fuelmoto head pipe and some good slip-ons (which I may change to someday). Now I'm getting the "more power" bug again. Maybe it's time to switch to a 107", 555 build with some headwork...

Here's a chart of my buddy's and my bike's dyno charts. Both done on the same day about three hours apart. Both 96" stock motors and Thunderheaders. Only difference is a PCV and Fuelmoto Stage I air filter on his, and Heavy Breather and Mastertune on mine.

107 and headwork is what we're gonna get!

And my bike may be the 1st (well, actually 2nd after Jamies bike get tested 1st) to have Jamie take my bike from 96 to 107, and include some headwork (who's head work has yet to be determained....kinda).

Here's what a 107 should look like, CR 10:1 and the cams are TW7H, which spec out the same as the TW6-6 with the exception of lift (.575). I'd guess it'd be very similar with the 6 or the 555. I'm also running Rinehart TD's.

That is what I wish more dyno charts looked like. That gives better resolution and they start the run from a much lower RPM similar to how you would take off in the real world. Awesome job from that tuner I just wish he included the AFI chart.

The numbers are... ummm impressive to say the least.
