I'm 23 and I would say since 2006 I seem to sweat an unreasonable amount throughout the day. Hot weather, cold weather, indoors, outdoors it doesn't seem to matter. I always seem to sweat under my arms. Sometimes its a lot of sweat where it runs down my abdomen, and sometimes its a cold sweat. Its really annoying and embarrassing and I can't tell you how many shirts I've ruined because of how much I sweat.
Even after trying two different off the shelf prescription strength deodorant sticks three different times (degree, old spice) I still have no luck. With all three times the deodorant seems to work great for the first three days and I got relatively sweat free the whole day. However it seems to stop working after those first few days and now even though I'm using the old spice right now I still sweat a lot.
The directions on the stick say to put in on right before I go to bed. I've also read on the internet that you should scrub off the deodorant the next day in the shower. I've tried this as well and it still doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone have any ideas why the prescription strength only seems to work well for a few days? Or if theres any other brand/type of deodorant that worls well or any other method of stopping the sweat?
