wondering how to promote my 1st Andriod app ?

hi,
my first post here ...
thanks to the wonderful AppInventor and it's Blocks Editor even an idiot like me made an app !

I created it as a fundraiser for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital,
and would ask a favour in what could anyone suggest I do to promote it ?

it's on the market as 'Manchester United 19' ...

my first port of call was the Official Manchester United Fanzone blog,
and I am amazed that after 3/4 days I have had not one reply.
and this from supposed United fans, who are quite happy to do 5000 postings on a silly '3 word game'

here is what I put on there,
if you own an Android phone, for the price of a cup of coffee you can:
1. make money for Manchester Children's Hospital ...
2. have a good poke at Liverpool and Carragher ...
3. have a good giggle with your mates in the pub ...
4. test your knowledge of the actual 19
it's all a bit of a giggle really, but hopefully will make some money if well received

this is my first Android app, just search on the Android market, via the internet, or on your phone for:
Manchester United 19 ( by Kevin J. Browne priced at 99p)

where did I go wrong ?

sadly after over a week I still do not seem to be getting the word out ...
and I have even emailed over 50 Man. United fan clubs !
seems to me no-one wants to support charity even though in my opinion the app is a good giggle for 99p anyway ...
oh well

You should consider making the app free. I think you would get a lot more installs then and you can still sell premium features via in app billing.
