women: why is it that you read romantic novels.. yet JUDGE men who watch pornography?

Cant stand the romance novels...but your welcome to watch your porn.


(the whole...you know what "I" think, say, and do thing coming from some men is kinda getting old. Could we stop that double standard.. Thanks)
 
I don't read romance novels (so poorly written!!!), but I do like a little porn now and then.... Perhaps you should stop judging the women who are reading romance novels.
 
Lol, i guess the think about novels is that it all happens in the mind and when a writer writes it, it did not happen in real life at all.

Compare this with a pornographic film where women are usually degraded and treated as sex objects to satisfy a man's desire. So i guess the disapproval also stems from the actions of the sex film industry as well. So it is not solely the thought of sex that women are unhappy about. But this is just a guess from my part.
 
True. Lots of men find Mills and Boon as sickening as some women seem to find pornography.

Note that feminists often object to heterosexual pornography only.
 
I don't read that crap. BUT, I do want a man's man . I do not judge men who dig porn, but expect him to keep it out of my space out of respect. From this I can see a bit of what his animal wants. He should try to see what mine needs as well .
