They reduce women to chattel pretty much across the board. In the modern era, Islam is the worst overall but they are all equally bad when taken to an orthodox level.
This reflects the societal structure of the middle eastern bronze age cavemen of the time. Some other places in the world had matriarchies around the same period in history, so it's just a reflection of that culture in that specific area.

islam gives women special respect and place.
Allah says that the most beautiful thing of his creation is, woman.
He also says that the greatest respect and care is deserved by a mother on this earth, as she has gone through so much pain while giving birth and upbringing the child.
at the time before islam, there wre no limits to how many wifes u could have. not even in the bible. the people of that time therefor had unlimited wifes. they mistreated them. didnt letthem get educated. used them for sex only. gave them no share in money or property etc.
islam was the first religion to give the women right to own property and to get parts of the property left after the death of her relatives like parents and husband. before that, women didnt get any share.
islam was also the first religion to put a limit to how many wifes u can have. Allah says in the quran that u can have one, two, three or max four wifes, but not more than that! and even for that there is a condition that u should treat them 100% equally. that includes even how much time u spend with them n how much love u give them. Allah says that He knows this is almost impossible, therefore its best for u to have only one wife.
islam also says that all muslim men and women have to get education and knowledge. it also says that woman should be treated with respect. no man is allowed to stare at women other than his wife. a women should also cover her beauty so that no man will tease her. prostitution and relationships before marriage are strictly forbidden. this is again for the respect and protection of the woman. marriage also gives a woman more rights, hence more respect and protection.
a husbands duty is to earn money to provide shelter, food and clothing for his wife and kids and also to protect them and love them and take care of them.
islam gives a woman a lot of respect and protection. and saves her from being treated as a sex toy for men, for example like in western countries u can see that women go around in the streets almost naked so all men can enjoy her sexy body, and in many shops there are many magasines with naked women on the front page. and women are being used in business as a showpiece like in car ads etc. and the number of rapes in these countries is increasing and prostitution as well. and women are being used for sex by men and then men move on to someone else instead of marrying that woman and give her rights as a wife and protect her.
