I'm no n00b to Symbian and Wifi/WLAN, but just have a few general questions regarding the WLAN on my newest baby, a Nokia E65.
1) If I create a WLAN access point group and put a bunch of different SSIDs in it, while the phone automatically switch between them? I've read that it should switch automatically, but haven't noticed this.
2) I have my email set to update itself ever 2hrs automatically via WLAN (I have no data plan), but since I use IMAP, it basicaly gets updated instantly because after connecting for the 1st time, it stays connected. Is this draining my battery more than normal? I usually have to recharge every night or every other night, depending on usage.
3) Is there any way to have the phone automatically connect to a public (no WEP) WLAN network, when detected, if I have it set to automatically search for new networks every 5-10min?
4) (unrelated to WIFI), how can I get my E65 to NOT ask me if I want to lock the keypad everytime I close the slider? I never lock (no need), and find this becoming more and more annoying.
