Without belief in God, does that make life a mystery that we just have to explore?

Even if you dismiss the question of God, the question mark remains. Simply the experience of having a subjectivity or consciousness is too mysterious to understand using the mind, since the subjectivity itself is what gives arising to the mind in the first place. You can't pull yourself up by your own shoestrings.

"The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible." ~ Albert Einstein

So with God gone, does that make life a mystery, which we just have to explore with no fixed attitudes? Do you think the average human being will ever be sufficed with love and curiosity to live by, without reducing this existence into a problem that needs to be solved?
