Hello! I need serious answers here everyone! My loan term for financial aid is from 11/08-11/09 and it is only partially disbursed. I am due for a disbursement in a few weeks. I am not happy with my current university and wish to withdraw. The financial aid department says if I withdraw I will not have money at my new school until after November. So, my question is should I go ahead and stay enrolled in this school that I am at currently until after the disbursement and then withdraw so that I can use the money that is left over at the next school. Is this possible? I am currently attending Ashford University Online and this school has done nothing but rob me by asking the lender to take out $99,999.99 over the course of four years for my student loan. I think this is an outstanding amount of money! I am also upset with the way the system runs and how they make us pay $1062 for class we drop. They are a bunch of crooks. So can anyone help me please?
