I have successfully tapered from 20 mg to nothing within 2 months or so. I have not had any issues with headaches or crazy zaps but I am finding that after 4 days without the med I am EXTREMELY fatigued and I feel as though I could pass out at any minute from tiredness. I also get the weird quick rush of tiredness when I move my head from side to side. Anyone else experience this??? I want to feel like I am not alone! I am happy I am off of the meRAB though after a year. The doc told me to taper from 20mg to 10 mg in 2 weeks and then stop. I thought he was crazy so I cut the pills from 20 mg to 15 for 2 weeks, 15 to 10 for 2 - 3 weeks and from 10 to 5 for 3 weeks and then recently stopped. I hate feeling this tired and woozy!

I had the same thing with Paxil, but I went cold turkey (NOT ADVISED) I had to go back on them, I'm afraid to go off them again. been on them for 12 years.

yeah, now I started to feel odd my heart is racing again and i feel my heartbeat at an odd rate (fast) almost like when i am woken up from a nap.. and im wide awake now because of it... cant sleep and sort of manic.... like went spastic today and felt like i drank about 80 cups of coffee also have been verrrry irritable.

After 10 years on celexa, I quit quickly (I know...not advised) I went from 40 mg directly to 20 for a couple of days, then skipped a day, then 20 mg one more time and that was it. No more! I did feel tired and I had a weird, kind of dizzy whoosh when I moved my eyes quickly. That was 2 months ago and now I feel great. I'm eating more healthy fooRAB, moving more and happier. If I FEEL an emotion, it is MINE to be experienced and dealt with. I'm glad I'm off celexa and do not plan on ever again being on chemicals.
