With this whole switch from Alltel to At&t when will we actually recieve our new phones?

Alltel is switching to AT&T. We were supposed to have our phones picked by the beginning of January.. But now they increases the dead line to January 26. I wanted to know how soon it would actually be until we recieve and are able to activate these new phones.
This is in Iowa..
