With this dietary lifestyle change, will I only lose 1/2 a pound a week?

My plan (which i have been sticking to for the past week now) is to eat about 1,400 calories a day. I know for a fact that our bodies burn up approximately 1,380 calories just for digestion, thinking, etc. So basically, they would cancel each other out.

And, of course, the most simply way to lose weight is to expend more than you put it. I plan to walk/jog 4X a week for about an hour, which burns 350 calories. That means in all, I'll burn 1,400 calories a week with exercise.

Therefore, the total expenditure of the week is only 1,400 calories, and there are 3,500 calories to a pound. If i stick to this healthy lifestyle, am I only going to lose 1/2 a pound each week?
thank you! I figured out my bmr and caloric needs, it makes way more sense now. If i stick to this regiment, i'll be most likely to loose about 1-2 pounds a week, not 1/2 a pound. Thanks so much!! (i would put you as best answer...but i would need more than one answer to do so. hehe)
