revive an industry? Contrary to what Republican say the loan to GM was a great example of how Government can step in and help. The Loan is repaid and there is a profit for the Goverment of 12% and GM just released it's reports for this year with a profit of 2 billion!!! Not only did the loan save millions of jobs in auto, but glass, plastic and rubber companies did nt go under. If we had listened to Republicans would GM have ended up an economic basket case and disaster like they left the rest of the economy?
