from full body scans how does that make you feel. While it is of paramount importance to ensure passenger safety and ensure that all passengers are checked for illegal items( not endorsing the full body embarrassment scanner) why are some pilots exempt. I can understand that the pilots go through a training and exhaustive background check and so the airline may feel that the need for such an invasive security measure isn't warrented. The pilot is akin to the man with his finger on the button. The USA's own government employs undercover sting operations that sometimes last for years as an agent infiltrates deep into "enemy territory" may it be any kind of illegal organization. Would it now be so much simpler to engage a sleeper or some other "american" with sympathetic feelings toward the "enemy's" cause and allow that person to even start from school and go through the necessary steps in order to become a pilot or even just a year or so. Someone who doesn't have a suspect past? Doesn't this just further enrage the public at large by them thumbing their noses and saying our people don't have to but you do. Are they not showing their Achilles heel?
