needed? or will they rot? its my first year growing potatoes. Ive been told by one person, that its ok to leave them in and use them as needed. Ive been told by another, this is not a good practice, and it will rot your potatoes. Both of these are an early variety. Should i dig them all out now (most of them are mature, i actually pulled a 1 1/2lb potato from my one red ponitac plant). What is the best practice when it comes to harvesting potatoes?
