With GM chopping Pontiac and Saturn is it worth it to buy one?

I'm in the market for a new car. And friends and aquaintances alike are saying that GM's newly opened wounds (AKA saturn and pontiac), Should not be off limits in my search. My concern is that I personally tend to drive the wheels off my car. Having a 94' Camry that has spent 10 years and just over 180k in miles in my care I'm worried that parts for these cars will become scarcer quicker. Leaving me with refurbed parts as my only choice. I'm looking at 2008 Grand Prix.

Can anyone Tell me if its worth it?

I do not think a diesel is an option now for a Pontiac but I would still by one. The parts will still be available and the warranty will still be covered. When Olds went out they did not leave customers hanging and I can still get parts today. Buy with confidence and buy what you want.

yes it is worth it because companies like AC Delco (used to be part of GM) makes parts and will for these cars because they are every where.....just get a DIESEL it is way better in the long run.....WAY CHEAPER TO OWN BECAUSE THEY GET 30mpg
