...however, is in such...? high demand, that new buyers are put on a 3 month waiting list. Hummers, in contrast, are selling so poorly that GM is seeking to discontinue the brand or pawn it off on any other carmaker willing to take the money-loser off its hands.

If the Hummer, a.k.a. "the bushmobile", represents the Republican's philosophy of hubris and excess, then does the Toyota Prius represent the Democrat's philosophy of economy, efficiency, and environmentalism? Which philosophy has proven correct by time?
