...macbook pro? right now, i know most people will say get a laptop for portability, desktop for power....already know that
i built my second custom rig last christmas, day right after actually...
Q6600, 4gb ram, gtx 275, 750W PS, nice set up from last year.
and already have the multibody macbook pro from 2008 as well. 4gb ram, Intel C2D 2.5 Ghz, 15"
but this year, i want to obtain one of the two.
If i got the laptop, it would be a refurbished 13" macbook pro, 2.26 Ghz, 2gb ram. the usual, upgrading the stats later, 4gb ram, and ssd.
if i built a desktop, it would either have a core i7, 860 or 920.
6gb ram, intel SSD, motherboard capable of sli and crossfire, modular power supply, quiet case, and one uber graphics card or 2 super gaming cards.
So idk, what do you think?
and if i sold my desktop, i would probably buy a cheaper hp laptop later on.
one more thing haha, we have an hp mini, and i plan to put OS X on their today actually if that changes any of your views.
