We have 4 white clouds in 20 gallon filtered tank now, and aquarium has been set up and running for 2 weeks with the fish. a couple of the fish got ICK and have been treated for 4 days now, and spots are gone. Anxious to get more fish....but afraid of Ick and water quality if tank hasn't cycled.

add slowly... let these fish settle for a while b4 getting more. There is no exact time. look up the charts on the net they will tell you avg.s for time... measure your levels daily... you will know when things are stable

You should always have the tank running for at least 5 days then put the fish in never keep the fish in as sooon as you get the tank'

It usually takes about a month, sometimes more. With for WCMMs in there, it should speed things up. I'd wait about a week or two, and then buy some more fish.

2-3 weeks is the approximate cycle time, i would keep an eye on the fish, and if the ick doesn't return, your good to go. i would add hardier fish first and the more finicky/ delicate fish can be added later on. i cycled my tank with bloodfin tetras.

some other hardy fish i can recommend are swordtails (but only one male per tank) of course bloodfin tetras, and zebra danios.

wait two or three more weeks then you can buy a species of fish.If u want another species wait a week. This way they are building communities

It can take up to four weeks. Many times the aquarium will cloud over when it is almost cycled. If you treated with an antibiotic like tetracycline it will take longer.
