I need advice about having my wisdom teeth removed. Last time I went to the dentist(not very long ago) he told me that I should have my wisdom teeth removed and set up an appointment. I ended up canceling mainly because he didn't have a good reason why, they do not cause me pain and have not came through the gum yet. My wisdom teeth(both bottom and top) are aligned vertically and do not seem to be having any problems. I am 22 years old, is it normal for wisdom teeth to not come in at this age? The bottom and top look like there is enough space for them to come in. I have a fairly large jaw so according to the xray their seemed to be enough room. I am going to get another dentists opinion next time i am ready to go in for a cleaning. Do you have to remove impacted teeth that are beneath the gum?
