Unbolt and remove the inside door latch and remove the latch panel retaining screws.
Disconnect the door latch control linkage and, if equipped, wiring harness. Remove the control panel.
If equipped with manual windows, remove the window crank handles.
Remove the armrest lower retaining screws and swing the armrest downward to disengage the upper retaining clip. Pull the armrest straight out from the door panel.
Starting at the bottom of the door panel, use a flat tool, such as a wood spatula, pry out the panel-to-door frame retaining pins by levering right up against the pin. If a forked-end tool is available, use one. These pins are easy to rip out of the trim panel.
Installation is the reverse of removal. A firm hit with the heel of your palm is usually enough to drive the retainers into the holes in the door panel. Make sure that the retainer is directly over the hole before knocking it in, or it may be damaged.
