I have 2 amps: alpine f240 4 ch, alpine m350 mono, alpine type r 6x9 rear speakers, alpine type s 6.5'' splits in front, an alpine type s sub and a fusion ca-ip500 ipod deck with 4 pre outs. I am confused with the best way to wire the speakers to get the most quality from them. I heard someone say i should connect the speakers in series (8 ohm) from the amp to get more power. Is this correct? If so how do you tell what wattage this will be? Also how can i tell what gauge power cable i need? Much appreciated anyone that can help me!
