Computer DVD Sound problem:
My girlfriend's new computer Windows® XP Media Center 2005 Edition
on a new Dell Dimension she bought a few months ago.
On occasion, for certain DVDs:
-Plays the background sound effects/dialog,
with the main sounds/dialog muted.
I imagine it to be a conflict within the Media Center for sound
configuration (surround sound Dolby) and the DVD's default sound
output. I have yet to figure it out and it's increasingly
frustrating.
Any ideas? It's a Dimension E310 with the following motherboard/processor info:
Dimension E310 Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 521 w/HT Technology (2.8GHz,800FSB)
I'll run systeminfo on her computer if a clarification is necessary.
