I sync with a PC at work and at home, but both are Winblows. I sync at work with the cradle and at home via Wi-Fi. I know little about MAC, so I cannot comment on that.
Everytime I sync with the "other" PC I get a message that states, "The Palm has been synced with another computer and some duplication may occur, would you like to continue?" (yes/no) I only have a problem with duplications occasionally, not a big problem.
However, the warning message that pops up causes the sync process to pause until you click OK on the PC you are syncing with. This is anoying because I cannot sync without some intervention. If I'm at home, I have to walk upstairs to the PC and click the Yes button, circumventing all the conveniences of Wi-Fi.
I wish there was a way to disable the message, but there is no check box saying, "Don't warn me again". If anyone knows how to disable the message, that would be helpful.
Battery life is great, I have gone severla days without recharging and then I was only about 1/3 used. Over the weekend I spent time exparimenting with AVI and MP3 files and must have synced 20+ times, uploading various podcasts, MP3s and video files as big a 20MB (not to mention playing them on the Palm repeatedly). And I still had about 1/4 of my battery left. I have read stuff regarding these NiMH batteries and many reviews suggest that they will last about 2 years before there is any appreciable loss in battery life.
Your mileage may very.
Cheers,
John
