Window's Photo Gallery won't let me view my uploaded video's anymore. Why?

I can view the video with Quick time Player, but not in Photo Gallery like I normally can. I really need to fix this so that I can view and edit and publish the video. Please help!!!

When I click to open the video it says "This video cant be displayed" And no matter what method of opening it I use it does not work.

I seriously need help with these videos....I need them edited and published by tomorrow!

My videos are all deleated on my camera so...I can't get them back!!! PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!
It tried that too....didn't work.
 
try right cliking the video file and scroll down to OPEN WITH and choose either program that you have installed on comp like windows media 11 or the like
check what programs are listed and try one that opens the video
