I have an HP Pavilion dv9715nr Notebook laptop running Vista and for some reason lately, everytime I attempt to delete a file (usually a .jpg or .rtf file) everything freezes for a minute or two.
I first noticed it when I had a picture open and selected the red "X" to delete it and everything froze. So I tried to drag it to my recycle bin and the same thing happened, and now it's doing it when I right click the file and delete that way.
It does actually delete it eventually, but not before making me wait with a forzen screen for up to a minute.
Any ideas as to what's up?
I have the most up-to-date Norton's antivirus and don't have any kind of virus or trojan, so I'm at a loss as to what's causing it.
