Windows not opening PDF file. Calling it ".tiff"?

I have been scanning documents to my computer and it worked before but just recently, I scanned and it came out as a .tiff file and wont open up. The error message comes up as "Adobe Reader could not open 'Dell Laser MFP 1815_20100805105211.tif' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." What do I do to make the file read in adobe reader as a PDF file? P.S. If I scan to another employee's computer, it opens up just fine. What do I do?!?! Thanks!
 
It seems like there is a problem with the Program on your Computer, I suggest you try downloading the Dell Laser MFP Driver


Google Search it

or try re-install the driver
