recently explorer on my ipaq either refuses to load, or loads awfully slow any sites that dont have microsoft affiliation. msn, microsoft.com, bing, and linked content to abc and others loads instantly. try to load google or yahoo and it sits doing nothing and times out, or loads painfully slow. i can access my router page instantly, there are no blocks on any sites.
i also have opera mobile installed on the same device and this loads google and other sites normally. there are no other issues on the ipaq and i have a good free memory overhead.
has anyone else experienced this? i suspect its some microsoft conspiracy to get its site rankings up. i have read there have been virii found on desktop machines that block non m$ affiliated sites, but i dont know how they could get access to my mobile device as wm5 is quite basic and i dont do updates, or use activesync as all my machines other than mobile are linux.
