Windows media wont let me burn Cd's?

2 options:

1. You might have a cd driver that does'nt support cd writing;

2. or you must install a nero for better burning experience than media player

My windows media player wont let me burn Cd's. It lets me drag them on the burn list but it wont let me press the burn button. Can some1 please help asap I'm trying 2 burn a CD 4 my sisters birthday. Thanks
