I noticed tonight on my computer a little icon down by the clock. It listed a name, which was that of my roommate. I clicked on it and it was Windows Media Sharing and asked if I wanted to allow his computer to connect to my library. It gave me the option to allow or deny, so I denied it. I've never done file sharing. He hasn't mentioned anything about it, either. Our computers have never been connected or had anything to do with one another. Why would this message come up??
There are 3 computers besides his in the house but mine is the only one that got this message. He doesn't have any of our computer information. There are 3 iPhones in the house (not his) but none of them do sharing. There is no file or home sharing set up. We all use the same wireless Internet. What would Internet have to do with Windows and why would only 1 computer get this message?
