windows media player has stopped working on my computer (XP). It was fine until a few days ago. Cant play radio, CD, anything. The icons are on the desktop, but nothing happens when i click. I went to windows.com and downloaded the latest version, at the end of download said it was ALREADY on the computer. Its been restarted several times also. I have no program disc for media stuff., The computer is 10 months old also...any ideas?

Try going to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, then uninstalling windows media player. Then download it again from microsoft and install it.

Probably someone else has said this but one of the only things you can do is just go to Add/Remove Progeams and reinstall it from microsoft.com or a CD. If that doesn't work, I dont know,

sorry is this doesnt help!
