oh guysss.
I need help. the other day, my music was playing completely fine, yesterday, it just stopped. I went to open a file in Itunes, and it looked as if it were about to start playing....only, it didn't. I'm well confused.
same with Windows Media Player, click on a song, and a little 'x' come's up by it, and then I get an error message. I went onto the suggested 'Web Help' page, only, they haven't got a solution for it.
This is with ALL my songs, they're still where they were, and I even tried plugging in my mp3 and playing from there, so i'm not quite sure what the problem is.
Did some research, not very helpful. Found something about codacs? or something, and downloaded a K Lite thing, did all the suggested things, no help, plus, i then found out maybe downloading that weren't the best thing to do haa.
i'd really appreciate some help, the thought of no music makes me want to cry )':
Ummm additional info...i think I have the latest Media Player, errrrm laptop's a Dell Studio 16 , operating on windows vista.
if anyone has an idea, please be as detailed as possible. :]
the exact same thing happens with itunes...................
anyway, I right clicked on 'Properties' one one of my songs in WMP, and where it says 'Audio Codec' and 'Video Codec' there's just a little hyphen. now, I haven't done this before so idno if it's any different to how it would be normally....but it makes sense :/
