Apparently there is something wrong with my windows media player, every video that is played on it turns out weird. Like, It becomes all the bright neon colors like Orange and blue and green and all glitchy. Can I fix this?
And can I update to the new windows media player 11 if I'm running Windows XP?
I am asking that because a friend of mine downloaded something from the Microsoft site and it turned his background black, and on the corner it said "This version of windows has not passed some test/scanning" I don't remember what It EXACTLY said, and he lost all his data, because he had to erase every thing on his computer and went from Service pack 2 to 1.
Is it safe to download it???
Will it fix the problem??
