I'm trying to make a class tribute, because this is our last year together and we were asked to make one because we were selected by the school council blahblahblah... Anyways, so we have a DVD full of videos that we took since the start of the school. We don't have them on camera. We tried all kinds of programs, from Windows Movie Maker to Sony Vegas 7. None of them imports them into editing.

So, we thought that we will just record it from Windows Media Player. So we tried and... the damned thing records everything black D: I remember fixing it before, it was something to do with layering...?

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of it. We tried using another player but it also doesn't work, since we don't know how to turn the layering off. We read the Help sections, but of course it doesn't say anything (probably for security)

We are using Windows Media Player 10, how to turn the layers off? D:

(I'm asking here because I know that lots of you probably did stuff like this before and will know how to do it)

Thanks :)
